Australia’s KC-30A tanker, on which EADS North America KC-45’s is based, already has demonstrated its refueling capabilities with the aircraft’s advanced boom and digital hose & drogue pods. This video compilation includes refueling operations with NATO F-16 and F/A-18 fighters.

The Royal Australian Air Force’s KC-30A tanker has refueled a NATO nation’s E-3F radar aircraft, transferring more than 65,000 pounds of fuel during two missions. These flights validated the tanker’s capability to refuel a wide range of receivers, from fighters to large aircraft.
