Flying today »
In production now

America needs a new aerial refueling aircraft from a qualified provider with a proven platform that is flying today.  Only one tanker meets that test – the EADS North America KC-45.

A Trusted Prime Contractor

Every day the United States Army and Navy fly missions with the UH-72A Lakota helicopter – built in Mississippi by the people of EADS North America, and delivered on time and on budget every time.  Our other aircraft programs include the Coast Guard’s HC-144A Maritime Patrol Aircraft and HH-65C Dolphin helicopters, and a range of rotary wing aircraft for the Department of Homeland Security and other law enforcement customers.

We believe the Air Force deserves the same reliable contract performance for its new tanker, not just promises.

American Jobs Supporting American Warriors

The KC-45 will be made in America, by American workers at a new EADS North America production center in Mobile, Alabama. The program will support tens of thousands of direct and indirect U.S. jobs at partner companies and suppliers across America.

A winning platform

Later this year America’s allies will begin receiving new tankers based on the same platform, with the same proven refueling systems, as the KC-45. In fact, in five head–to-head competitions, including the 2008 U.S. Air Force competition, our tanker has defeated Boeing’s offering. While our tankers are flying and in production, Boeing has yet to build even a prototype of the aircraft it proposes to provide for the United States Air Force.

The EADS North America KC-45 tanker is flying and in production today. It is the only one.
