The EADS North America KC-45 tanker can refuel even the largest aircraft quickly and efficiently given its substantial internal fuel capacity and high fuel transfer rates. The KC-45 can go farther to reach pilots who need fuel, bring them more gas, and stay on station longer. With its proven boom and hose-and-drogue systems, it requires no ground reconfiguration to handle different aircraft types in a single mission.
More Capacity
The KC-45 also is the most capable aircraft for meeting the U.S. Air Force’s passenger, cargo and medical evacuation airlift needs. It can be configured to carry more than 250 troops, up to 32 pallets of cargo or 130 litters along with medical equipment and staff. All that capability, without giving up any refueling capacity.
